CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured two men in Clarksville Friday night.
According to a news release, police were called to a large graduation/block party on Vanleer Street in Lincoln Homes. Witnesses told police the two male victims were walking with three other men when they were approached by a light-colored car.
The occupants of the vehicle opened fire with pistols and shot two people in the group.
Labryson Deonta Garner, 28, was shot in the chest and transported by Lifeflight to Vanderbilt Medical Center. He underwent surgery and is now in stable condition.
The second victim, Nicholas Eugene Clower, 30, was shot in the thigh and transported by Lifeflight to Skyline Medical Center. He was treated and released.
