HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) have charged two inmates after they walked away from a work-release detail in Hopkinsville.

According to a press release, the Christian County Jail contacted KSP Wednesday around 12:35 p.m. to report the escapees.

The inmates were on a work-release detail at the recycling center located on Mount Zoar-Latham Road when they walked away. At approximately 1:53 p.m., jail personnel located the two on the bypass near Concord Church. Both were taken into custody without incident.

Shawn M. Duncan, 24, was charged with 3rd degree escape and Quintin W. Jones, 23, was charged with third degree escape and execution of bench warrants.

Both men were booked into the Christian County Jail.
