MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. – Two people were injured in a crash Saturday around 10:30 p.m. on I-24 at mm 13.

According to Dalya Qualls with Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 2006 Jeep Liberty driven by Brittney Nicole Carroll, 30, of Tuscumbia, AL with no passengers was traveling eastbound and for an unknown reason crossed the median into the westbound lanes.

Several vehicles swerved to avoid the Jeep, which struck a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Patricia Williams McDonald, 57, of Clarksville. No passengers were in the vehicle.

The collision caused the Jeep to flip on its side and slide. Debris from the vehicles involved in the crash caused minor damage to another vehicle.

Carroll was flown to Skyline Hospital where she was treated and released. She was charged with reckless driving and driving without a license. Possible additional charges are pending.

McDonald was transported to Gateway Medical Center where she was treated and released.
