CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – During the recovery of a stolen car Thursday morning, deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office found two individuals overdosing, and while deputies and EMS were able to save one, the other died.
MCSO deputies discovered a stolen Lincoln Navigator on Ross Lane in Clarksville on Thursday around 3:45 a.m. that was occupied by an unconscious person.
Life-saving measures were administered to this person by MCSO deputies and EMS, but they did not survive, according to a news release from MCSO spokesperson Sandra Brandon.
After speaking with neighbors in the area, deputies discovered a second unconscious individual. Life-saving measures were administered, along with Narcan, by deputies and EMS. The second individual survived, and is recovering at an area hospital, according to the news release
This is still an active and ongoing investigation by the MCSO Criminal Investigations Division and the 19th Judicial Drug Task Force.
