CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Police responded to a call Wednesday evening reporting shots fired in the parking lot of Longhorn Steakhouse on Wilma Rudolph Blvd in Clarksville. The two men shot during the altercation outside of the restaurant have succumbed to their injuries and died.
James Ramsey, 37, of Clarksville and John Allgood, 53, of Clarksville were named Thursday as the shooting victims.
Based on preliminary information information, the two men were killed following some sort of dispute and the general public is not in danger.
Police have worked throughout the night conducting interviews, processing evidence, and following leads. As the investigation continues, police are asking anyone that may have any information, even though it may seem irrelevant, to contact investigators.
There were many people that fled from the scene once gunfire erupted who may have information to help police piece together the intricate puzzle.
