CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Two people from Michigan were arrested in Clarksville Feb. 6 as part of a prostitution sting conducted by Clarksville police detectives.

According to arrest warrants for the suspects, the detectives had been corresponding via text messages with 23-year-old Danielle Cornel regarding an ad she posted on backpage.com. An agreement had been reached for $250 for one hour of her time.
Around 8:30 p.m., Cornel arrived at Cumberland Ridge Apartments, which was the prearranged meeting place. She was driven to the location by Daniel Carr, 41.
Cornel admitted she had posted the ad on the website. She was arrested and charged with promoting prostitution. Her bond was set at $25,000.
Carr was charged with promoting prostitution and driving on a suspended license. His bond was set at $26,000.
