CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville couple’s property was severely damaged by storms that blew through the area overnight.
Janine Wills said both cars parked in the driveway at her home on Rossview Road are destroyed after a tree fell on them during the storm. The tree also damaged portions of the house when it fell.
Straight line winds ripped the tree from the ground by its roots.
Fortunately no one in the home was injured.
Wills said a second tree fell in another part of the yard and damaged a neighbor’s vehicles as well.
“It’s been a stressful and emotional day,” Wills said.
A GoFundMe has been created to help them with expenses.
