CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Alcohol Beverage Control Agents of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operation Unit conducted operations targeting sales of alcohol to minors June 6.
Of the 16 establishments checked, two were cited for selling alcohol to minors. Agent Tanner Pew is the lead investigator, and these operations are ongoing.
The Kangaroo Pantry at 1874 Memorial Dr. and Rony’s Smoke Shop at 419 N. Second St. were cited.
Two juveniles were cited for possessing alcohol under the age of 21. Both juveniles were 17 and bought alcohol at Rony’s as CPD agents witnessed the sale from the parking lot. Both Juveniles were released to their parents.
