CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Turkeys For Troops is coming up, bringing free turkeys to military families in Clarksville for the seventh year.

Turkeys For Troops will be Saturday, Nov. 23, beginning at 8 a.m. and continuing until all of the turkeys are gone. Any household with a valid military ID – active duty, veteran or family member – can pick up their free frozen turkey and a 2-liter soda. Turkeys are limited to one per household.

The event will be at Ajax Distribution, 330 Warfield Blvd. This is a drive-thru, outdoor event, and police will help direct traffic.

Austin Peay State University’s baseball and softball teams will be on site, helping with the turkey distribution. On-air talent from Beaver 100.3 and Z97.5 will be on site to cheer on the volunteers.
