CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Tuckessee Outdoor Expo returns to the Wilma Rudolph Event Center in Clarksville July 30 and 31.

This event offers two full days of shows, seminars and demonstrations on hunting, fishing, water sports, camping and more. Kids can find plenty of interesting activities to participate in at the expo this weekend, including:

  • Jumping, Climbing, Soaring: Animal-lovers will enjoy an educational demonstration by National History Educational Company of the Midsouth featuring snakes, kangaroos, owls, and more.
  • Duck call training with outdoor expert Wade Bourne
  • Archery instruction from Clarksville Parks and Recreation
  • Survival Training with Gretchen Cordy, Q108 on-air personality and former contestant on TV’s ‘Survivor’
  • Smoky Mountain Dock Dogs: For dogs that love the water, Smoky Mountain Dock Dogs will demonstrate why dock diving is a growing trend in performance sports for pets. Featured on ESPN and The Outdoor Channel, dock diving includes long jumps, high jumps and speed retrieving for water dogs and is a mesmerizing spectator sport for animal lovers.
