CLARKSVILLE, TN – In continued support of the Clarksville Police Department and our community, local quilters donated 126 Trunk Quilts to the CPD.
Trunk Quilts ride with the officers to be given to children who may find themselves in a situation beyond their control. Quilters hope these quilts provide a bit of comfort to the child, giving a positive memory to a negative experience, and make the officers job a little easier on a hard day.
Special thanks to our two local quilt shops, Beyond Stitches and Quilt & Sew at Golden Threads, for their continued support of this project, as well as our main drop-off location, Clarksville Guns & Archery.
