NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Republican front runner Donald Trump is getting push back from his own party for a proposal to ban Muslims from entering the U.S.
Trump’s plan drew criticism from the heads of the Republican Party in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina, the first three primary states.
Candidate Jeb Bush tweeted that Trump has become “unhinged,” and former Vice President Dick Cheney said the ban ‘goes against everything we stand for.’
