On behalf of HCA Healthcare and TriStar Health, we want to personally thank the Clarksville and Montgomery County community for your overwhelming support in helping gain approval for the new TriStar Clarksville Hospital.
Over the past two months, we have witnessed an extraordinary outpouring of engagement from individuals, families, community leaders, the state delegation, business owners, educators, veterans and military families. All united by a powerful belief that Clarksville deserves greater access to high-quality healthcare.
More than 21,000 residents signed a petition in support of our application. More than 2,000 submitted unique letters detailing their personal experiences, challenges and hopes for improved care in their community.
And just this past Wednesday, hundreds of Clarksville residents traveled down Interstate 24 to fill the Senate Hearing Room inside the Cordell Hull Building. You stood shoulder to shoulder to make your voices heard. This was a milestone moment, and we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to answer your call.
We also want to thank Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts and Montgomery County Mayor Wes Golden for their steady leadership throughout this process. Their support, along with the tireless work of the Clarksville-Montgomery County Economic Development Council and the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce helped ensure the success of our proposal.
‘All will receive the care they’ve long deserved’
With Wednesday’s approval, we now look ahead to delivering on the promise we’ve made: a modern, full-service hospital that meets the needs of one of the fastest growing communities in the state.
The future TriStar Clarksville Hospital will serve everyone who calls this community home. The longtime residents, new families, active-duty service members and veterans at Fort Campbell, teachers, students, small business owners and professionals powering Clarksville’s economic engine. All will receive the care they’ve long deserved with our new hospital.
Our goal has always been to build a trusted community resource, one that expands access to high-quality emergency care, women’s services, advanced imaging and much more. One that provides greater choice and sets a new standard of care for a rapidly growing city.
We also understand the responsibility that comes with this opportunity.
As part of HCA Healthcare, TriStar Health brings a legacy of clinical excellence and community commitment. We will work with Clarksville and Montgomery’s local leaders, organizations and residents to ensure that the TriStar Clarksville Hospital is built for the people it’s intended to serve and shaped by the community it will care for.
From the beginning, our focus has been on improving health outcomes, increasing access and expanding capacity in a way that matches Clarksville’s momentum.
Thanks to you, that vision is now a reality.
