CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Rivers and Spires has announced that American Idol alum and Q108 Clarksville’s Got Talent winner Tristan McIntosh will take the stage with headliner Kellie Pickler on Saturday, April 16.

“It’s honestly amazing to know that I’m performing with THE Kellie Pickler. She is such a talented artist. She sounds just as amazing in person as she does on a recording,” Tristan said.

RIVERS AND SPIRES FESTIVAL APRIL 14-16

“Here’s a success story that is unfolding before our eyes, and it began here in Clarksville,” said Theresa Harrington, Executive Director of Visit Clarksville. “We have this incredible Festival that brings together amazing talent from near and far. It only made sense to invite Tristan, and what it’s turned into – performing with Kellie Pickler – is just incredible.”

At age 13, McIntosh broke onto the music scene as winner of Q108’s Clarksville’s Got Talent competition. She recently competed on the fifteenth and final season of ‘American Idol’, making it to the top six. Her talents are recognized by some of today’s top names in country and pop music.

“Kellie’s success has shown me that even if you place 6th, you can still have an amazing career,” Tristan said. “After her Idol experience, I know that she put in hard work to be where she is today, and I plan on doing the same. Now that Idol is over, I’m writing a lot of music to be able to put out an album. I’m going to be getting as much experience onstage as possible, and use what I learned on Idol, and what I gained because of idol to further my career.”

To make Rivers & Spires an experience, not just an event.”

McIntosh will also be available for a meet and greet and autograph signings with festival guests on Saturday from 5-6 p.m. near the Public Square Stage.
