OAK GROVE, Ky (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Tried-N-True Pro will bring the inaugural wrestling event to Valor Hall Saturday, February 22. The agreement with Kentucky’s Oak Grove Tourism was first announced in December 2019, as both parties are working to bring quality entertainment options to the region.

The first event, Survival, will be held Saturday, February 22. Limited tickets still remain (purchase here).

After producing their last live event back in August 2019, TNT Pro took a lengthy absence from promoting events in the Clarksville area. The time off allowed Tried-N-True Pro owner, and 101st Airborne Army veteran, Anthony Mayweather to focus efforts on relocating its home venue to a location that is able to accommodate the massive growth and future vision for the events.

“After scouting out several potential venue options all over the Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky area, I am thrilled to call Valor Hall of Oak Grove, Kentucky our new main live event location. Valor hall is, hands down, the most beautiful state-of-the-art facility in this region that will be able to host our live entertainment events. I look forward to plugging into the community of Oak Grove, as well as forming new relationships with local businesses and promotional partners, all while being so close to home in Clarksville,” said Mayweather.

Mayweather has stated in the past, that his goal for this regional brand was clear. While most major concerts and events pass over Oak Grove, Fort Campbell, and Clarksville, opting instead for a Nashville venue, he decided to create something that would rival the big city.

Mayweather has brought in major names from professional wrestling to include WWE Hall of Famers Jeff Jarrett, Kevin Nash, and Road Warrior Animal, along with current superstars such as Jeff Hardy, Scott Steiner, and Tommy Dreamer.

In January 2019, Mayweather teamed with the National Wrestling Alliance and brought Hollywood actor and wrestler David Arquette, along with platinum selling musician Billy Corgan, of the Smashing Pumpkins, to the area. With each event, Tried-N-True Pro has made it possible for fans to get up close and personal with celebrities they would perhaps never have a chance to meet.

These events have consistently captured strong local media coverage, in addition to national media coverage from outlets such as TMZ, Daily Mail, Newsweek, and more.

Mayweather plans to promote and produce at least three live events throughout 2020 at Valor Hall, working directly with Oak Grove Tourism throughout the process.
