CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)-  Two men are scheduled to go to trial on accusations that they murdered a 20-year-old man.

Keondre Jenkins was shot and killed outside of the Independence Place Apartments, located at 3193 Fort Campbell Blvd, on January 14, 2018.

Clarksville detectives determined  Jamarcus Edwards allegedly drove to the apartment complex and provided a handgun for then 20-year-old Prince Jamal Ligon, who shot Jenkins.

Police said Ligon shot Jenkins from inside the vehicle, according to a previous report.

Edwards and Ligon are both charged with first-degree murder and scheduled to begin a jury trial on Monday, Feb. 24 in Judge William Goodman’s court.

Edwards had a hearing on January 31, and his trial was marked for certain.

Prince Jamal Ligon will have a court date on Thursday, Feb. 13.
