CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Board of Parole, TRICOR, and the Tennessee Department of Correction invite the community to a tree-planting ceremony honoring victims of crime.
This event will commemorate National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, which takes place April 6-12, 2014.
The ceremony will take place Friday, April 11 at 2 p.m. at St. Bethlehem Civitan Park, located at 650 Bellamy Lane.
During the event, local and state victim advocates will also be recognized for their work to assist victims of crime.
In the case of rain, the ceremony will be held at Civic Hall, located at 350 Pageant Lane.
