CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Some residents cutting down trees dropped one onto a power line, causing a brush fire next to Highway 149 in Montgomery County on Saturday.
At about noon, firefighters were on their way, according to a sheriff’s deputy at the scene, which was about a mile west of Hilltop Supermarket.
Traffic was not affected, and no buildings were nearby.
