DOVER, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Land Between the Lakes trapping permits are now available.

Trapping season lasts from January 14-27, 2019. Kentucky Hunt Areas 2, 6, 7, and Tennessee hunt areas 11 and 13 will be open for trapping. Beaver trapping season is February 1-28 in Kentucky and Tennessee in all hunt areas. Areas closed to hunting are also closed to trapping.

Trappers must possess a Land Between the Lakes Hunter Use Permit and the appropriate state trapping license. Legal traps, sets, species, and limits must conform to state and federal regulations. All traps must bear the trapper’s name and address. Trappers are required to complete a report at the end of the season.
