UPDATE: 101st Parkway back open after injury wreck

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A wreck with injuries at 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Pea Ridge Road is causing major traffic congestion, and the parkway is down to just one westbound lane.

The crash occurred at about 5 p.m. and involves two vehicles according to a news release from Clarksville Police spokesperson Scott Beaubien.

The shutdown lane is causing major traffic congestion, and one person involved in the wreck is being flown to Nashville by LifeFlight, Beaubien said. Their condition is unknown at this time.

Crash investigators are en route to the scene, and officers are asking the public to avoid the area or find alternate routes until the roadway is cleared.
