TRAFFIC ALERT: Wreck with injuries at intersection of Ashland City Road and River Road, roadway now reopened

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Police Department is currently responding to a motor vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of Ashland City Road and River Road.

The crash took place at approximately 12:02 p.m., and the roadway is completely shut down for the time being, according to CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is planned to work the crash, and traffic is being diverted at Edmondson Ferry Road.

Motorists have been urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes to minimize the congestion and allow emergency responders to work safely and efficiently at the scene, said Beaubien.
