Update, 9 a.m.: On Interstate 24, standstill traffic was down to about 1 mile of cars just past Exit 11.

Traffic was clear on Fort Campbell Boulevard. In that wreck, there were no serious injuries, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Detective Mike Patterson.

Update, 8:45 a.m.: Traffic on I-24 appeared to be clearing, with about 3 miles of standstill traffic still backed up just past Exit 11.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Two wrecks caused traffic problems around Clarksville on Monday morning.

At about 7:56 a.m., several vehicles wrecked on Interstate 24 eastbound at mile marker 17. Tennessee Highway Patrol estimated it would clear by around 9 a.m.

Eastbound traffic was backed up about 5 miles from the wreck site, almost to Exit 11.

At about the same time, there was a serious wreck at Fort Campbell Boulevard and Cunningham Lane.
