UPDATE: Traffic clearing after wreck at Riverside and Second Street

Update, 4 p.m.: Traffic is returning to normal rush hour levels through the intersection.

Update, 3:50 p.m.: Southbound traffic is improving through the intersection.

Traffic remains backed up on Riverside, on Second and on Kraft.

Previously: 

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A wreck at the Riverside Drive and Second Street intersection has traffic backed up downtown.

The wreck happened just before 3 p.m., according to dispatch.

At 3:20 p.m., southbound Providence Boulevard was backed up to Market Street.

Northbound Riverside was backed up past McClure Street, and northbound Second Street was backed up to Forbes Avenue.
