TRAFFIC ALERT: Interstate 24 clear after wreck near Exit 8

Update, 5:50 p.m.: Traffic is clear from both wrecks.

Update, 5:25 p.m.: Traffic is clearing through the area, but there appears to be a backup developing from a second wreck at Exit 4.

Previously: 

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A wreck had eastbound traffic blocked in Clarksville on Wednesday afternoon.

The wreck was near Exit 8 on Interstate 24.

At 5 p.m., eastbound traffic was backed up almost to Exit 4.
