CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A car has gone off the roadway into an embankment in Clarksville, impacting traffic on Whitfield Road Tuesday afternoon.
The Clarksville Police Department responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash at approximately 12:47 p.m. on Whitfield Road. near Blakemore Drive, according to a news release from CPD.
The status of the injuries is unknown at this time, but they do not appear to be life-threatening. As of 1:40 p.m., Whitfield Road is shut down, and motorists are advised to seek an alternate route until the vehicle can be removed from the embankment. The roadway is expected to remain closed for approximately another hour.
