Update, 11:25 a.m.: The lanes have reopened, and traffic is clearing at the front edge. Backups are continuing past Exit 11.
Update, 11:15 a.m.: The interstate remains closed, and traffic is backed up to Exit 11. There are also backups of eastbound traffic on U.S. Highway 41A.
Update, 10:20 a.m.: Traffic is backed up to about mile marker 15.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Tennessee Department of Transportation and Tennessee Highway Patrol have closed Interstate 24 eastbound at the 19 mile marker for a wreck investigation.
The Critical Incident Response Team is investigating a previous incident at mile marker 24.
“Please be patient; the closure will last approximately one hour,” the TDOT news release said.
