Update, 8 a.m. Tuesday: The motorcycle rider, Nicholas Azevedo of Clarksville, was airlifted to Skyline Medical Center, where he is in stable condition.

Update, 6:15 p.m.: Riverside Drive is back open. The wreck remains under investigation.

Update, 4:10 p.m.: The crash was between a motorcycle and a sedan. The motorcycle rider was critically injured and was being flown to a Nashville hospital.

Clarksville Police, Montgomery County EMS, Clarksville Fire Rescue and Austin Peay State University Police all responded.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Police Department is currently investigating a crash involving injuries at Riverside Drive near McClure Street.

CPD Lt. Charles Gill said crash investigators are responding, and in the meantime, northbound traffic is closed. Police ask for the public to find alternate routes or be prepared for long delays.
