UPDATE: 2 killed in motorcycle crash on Madison Street, roadway back open

Police are currently working a fatality crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle that happened early Sunday morning in Clarksville.

Update, 2 p.m.: The passenger who was in the front seat of the car hit by the motorcycle has died as a result of his injuries.

The roadway is back open.

CLARKSVILLE TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Police responded to a fatality crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle Sunday morning.

At around 9:07 a.m., the crash occurred in the area of Madison Street and Richview Road. When police arrived, the motorcyclist had been pronounced dead at the scene.

Westbound Madison Street was shut down at Richview Road, and CPD has asked motorists to find an alternate route until the roadway can be cleared, according to CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien.
