Update, 4:30 p.m.: Peachers Mill Road remains closed from North Senseney Circle down to West Boy Scout Road.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Police Department responded to two separate motorcycle crashes involving vehicles on Tuesday afternoon.

The first crash occurred at 1:52 p.m. on Peachers Mill Road at South Senseney Circle. The motorcyclist involved in the wreck is being transported to Tennova Healthcare, while the driver of the vehicle had to be extricated from their vehicle, according to CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien.

Peachers Mill Road is completely shut down at this time and motorists are advised to find an alternate route until the roadway can be reopened.

Meanwhile, the second crash occurred at 1:54 p.m. at the intersection of the 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Pea Ridge Road. The roadway is not blocked but is experiencing congestion, according to Beaubien.

The status of the injuries is unavailable at this time.
