Update, 4:25 p.m.: The westbound lanes of the 101st were backed up all the way to Trenton Road. Eastbound lanes were backed up to Heritage Park.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Several vehicles were hit during gunfire on the 101st Airborne Division Parkway Thursday afternoon.
At approximately 3:19 p.m., Clarksville Police responded to the 101st near Peachers Mill Road for a shooting that had already occurred, according to police spokesman Officer Scott Beaubien.

Several calls were made to 911 regarding a dark-colored vehicle shooting at another dark-colored vehicle. There have been no reports of injuries, but several individuals are stating that their vehicle was hit.
One westbound lane of the 101st is shut down between West Fork Bridge and Peachers Mill as officers work to collect evidence. CPD is asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident to call 911.
