Update, 7 a.m. Thursday: The Bypass water main repair work is complete and water service is fully restored, according to Rhonda Fulton at Clarksville Gas & Water.
The road is reopened to all traffic.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Bypass is closed because of a water main break near Sevenmile Ferry Road, according to Clarksville Police.
The US Highway 41A Bypass, also Ashland City Road, was backed up in both directions at 7:10 p.m.
Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.
