CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The outer northbound lane of Peachers Mill Road will close on Monday, March 15, at 6 a.m. for the next five weeks due to Clarksville Gas & Water utility work.

The closure will start near Amanda Drive and extend 100 feet past the Peachers Mill Road Bridge at the Little West Fork River for utility line maintenance, according to a news release.

This comes after a section of Peachers Mill near Marshall Drive remained closed during the day this week for work on sewer and water lines.

The northbound lane will be closed on weekdays from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m., and then reopened to allow normal traffic flow overnight.

Although Peachers Mill Road will still be passable, Gas & Water advises motorists that want to avoid traffic delays and congestion at the work site to chose an alternate route.

The utility work is anticipated to be finished by April 19.
