Update 2:20 p.m.: The roadway is back open.
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A wreck with minor injuries on Ashland City Road has one lane completely shut down, causing long traffic delays.
At approximately 11:55 a.m., a driver who experienced a medical episode struck a semi-tractor trailer in front of the Just For Kids Early Learning Center on 2388 Ashland City Rd.
According to CPD spokesman, Scott Beaubien, officers are controlling the flow of traffic and allowing motorists to alternate the use of the one open lane. This is an ongoing investigation and motorists are advised to find an alternate route until the roadway can be cleared.
