Update, 8:45 p.m.: Clarksville Fire Rescue assisted Montgomery County Fire Service in extricating the driver. CFR Squad 1, Rescue 9, and District 3 responded. Extrication was completed at 5:50 p.m., and the extent of the driver’s injuries is unknown.
Traffic remains backed up to about mile marker 17.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Interstate 24 has been shut down in Clarksville because of a tractor-trailer rollover crash.
At about 4:50 p.m., the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and Tennessee Highway Patrol were on the scene of a semi-tractor trailer rollover on Interstate 24 westbound at the 14 mile marker, according to MCSO. Both westbound lanes of traffic were shut down, with an unknown duration.
At 4:55 p.m., traffic was backed up to mile marker 18.
