TRAFFIC ALERT: Highway 41A in Sango back open after multi-vehicle wreck

Update, 2:15 p.m.: The highway is back open, according to MCSO.

Update, 12:45 p.m.: Traffic is still moving slowly through the area.

Multiple vehicles crashed in the westbound lanes at Sango Road at about 9:45 a.m., according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

Previously:

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – U.S. Highway 41A South in Sango is closed because of a wreck.

The wreck, which happened at about 10 a.m., is in the 3100 block of 41A, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Drivers are advised to seek an alternate route.
