Update, 8:45 a.m.: They roadway is back open, according to CPD.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Multiple people were injured in a head-on crash on the Bypass Wednesday morning.
At about 6:11 a.m., the vehicles crashed at 1925 Ashland City Road (41A Bypass), according to Clarksville Police spokesman Scott Beaubien. At least one person from each vehicle was treated and transported by Montgomery County EMS.
As of 7:30 a.m., the Bypass remains shut down, and motorists are advised to seek an alternate route until the roadway can be cleared. Traffic was backed up from Sevenmile Ferry Road to Queens Bluff Way.
