Update, 3 p.m.: The deceased victim’s name has been released. Jonathan Gatewood, 47, was killed in the crash, according to Clarksville Police.
Update, 9:30 a.m.: Wilma Rudolph Boulevard is back open to traffic.
Update, 8:05 a.m.: Wilma Rudolph Boulevard will be shut down until about 10 a.m. for the Fatality Crash investigation.
The incident involved a Grey Ford F-150 and a Black Kia. There is one fatality from one vehicle, and CPD will be withholding the victim’s name until it is confirmed the next of kin notifications are made. The occupants of the second vehicle were transported by EMS and are in stable condition, Beaubien said.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – At least one person has been killed in a wreck this morning on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, and the northbound lanes of the highway are closed near Athletic Avenue.
At 6:30 a.m., Clarksville Police were working the crash involving two vehicles.
“This incident involves a head-on-collision and the status of the other injured drivers is unknown, but they are being treated by EMS,” said Scott Beaubien, CPD spokesman.
The northbound lanes are closed and traffic is being diverted. CPD is asking the public to find alternate routes.
