Update, 3:25 p.m.: Police have announced the roadway is back open and the driver is reported to be in stable condition following the accident off of Ashland City Road. No other information has been made available at this time.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Police Department is working on a single-vehicle crash where the motorist ran off the road into a ravine.
The accident occurred off of Bypass 41A near 1602 Ashland City Rd., according to CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien. Clarksville Fire Rescue is working alongside CPD to get the driver out of the vehicle, who is not believed to have suffered any life-threatening injuries.
First responders are on the roadway causing traffic congestion; however, they expect the road to open back up shortly. Any additional information on the driver is unavailable at this time.
