Update, 9:45 a.m.: Traffic along Riverside Drive appears to be back to normal.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A crash on Riverside Drive took out a fire hydrant, flooding and closing the northbound lanes.
Riverside Drive is shut down northbound, according to Clarksville Police Detective Michael Patterson.
The crash involving two vehicles happened before 8 a.m. at Riverside and Spring Street.
Northbound traffic is closed, and is backed up almost to Jefferson Street.
Southbound traffic is slow through the area.
Drivers are urged to avoid Riverside Drive.
