CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A car trying to elude Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies crashed when running a red light on the 101st Airborne Division Parkway at Trenton Road.
At about 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, deputies tried to stop a vehicle for an equipment violation in the area of 101st and Whitfield Road, according to MCSO spokesman Sgt. Bishop Delaney. The vehicle did not stop, then made a U-turn on 101st and fled toward Trenton Road. The vehicle ran through the traffic light at Trenton, struck several vehicles and crashed.

The driver and a passenger were taken into custody and transported to Tennova Healthcare for minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.
Several lanes of traffic at the 101st and Trenton were shut down at this time. Please find alternate routes of travel.
