UPDATE: Motorcyclist injured in crash with car on Bypass

Update, 5:30 p.m.: The roadway is back open.

Update, 4 p.m.: The Bypass is now closed from Riverwood Place to Edmondson Ferry Road. The vehicle involved is a grey sedan.

Previously:

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A motorcycle crashed with a vehicle on the 41A Bypass/Ashland City Road Sunday afternoon.

At about 2:05 p.m., the vehicles crashed at Old Charlotte Trace, according to a news release from Clarksville Police spokesman Officer Scott Beaubien. The motorcyclist was transported to Tennova Healthcare.

At 3:20 p.m., the Bypass was closed between Riverwood Place and Ferguson Plumbing Supply. Traffic was being diverted and motorists were advised to find an alternate route until the roadway can be cleared. FACT Investigators were en route to the scene.
