Update, 12 p.m.: Traffic is worsening, with westbound now backed up to Huntco Drive, and eastbound traffic backed up to Old Farmers Road.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Four vehicles have crashed on Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway near Memorial Extension.

At about 11:15 a.m., the vehicles crashed near the intersection of Memorial Extension, according to CPD spokesman Scott Beaubien. One vehicle rolled over, and an occupant was being extricated by Clarksville Fire Rescue. The status of the injuries is unknown at this time.

The westbound lanes were closed, and motorists are advised to use an alternate route until the roadway reopens.

At 11:40 a.m., westbound traffic was backed up past Vaughn Road.
