Update, 9:50 a.m.: Providence Boulevard is back open, but there is lingering traffic through the area.
The status of those injured is unknown, but the injuries are not life-threatening, Beaubien said.
Update, 9:40 a.m.: Traffic is improving, with northbound lanes mostly clear. Southbound lanes are still tied up near the wreck site.
Update, 9 a.m.: Peacher’s Mill Road southbound is backed up to Randell Drive.
On Providence, southbound traffic is backed up past Dover Crossing. Northbound is past Market Street.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Three cars wrecked this morning on Providence Boulevard.
At 8:15 a.m., the Clarksville Police Department was working the wreck with injuries at 712 Providence Blvd. (U-Haul). The status of the injuries is unknown at this time.
The wreck is causing major traffic issues, and CPD is asking the public to find alternate routes until the roadway can be cleared.
At 8:40, southbound traffic was backed up to Dover Crossing. Northbound traffic was backed up to Locust Street.
