CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Two people were injured in a head-on collision this morning on Tiny Town Road.

At 9:02 a.m., officers were dispatched to the wreck at Tiny Town and Barkers Mill Road, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Scott Beaubien.

One driver was being flown to Nashville by LifeFlight helicopter, and the other driver was transported to Blanchfield Army Community Hospital at Fort Campbell. Their status has not been released.

The westbound lanes of Tiny Town have were shut down and traffic was being diverted onto Barkers Mill. There was one eastbound lane open, which was causing traffic congestion. Motorists are asked to find an alternate route until the roadway can be cleared.

This is the second major head-on collision on Tiny Town this week.

On Wednesday, a 47-year-old Clarksville man was killed in a head-on collision at Tara Boulevard. Three people in the other vehicle were seriously injured.
