“For patients taking multiple medications, instead of opening up a number of bottles they have to take in the morning, afternoon, evening or bedtime, we can package all of these medications into a pouch system,” says owner Dr. Steve Zaver.
“One good example,” says Zaver, “with my mother, she was taking eight different medications. When she was not able to take the medications herself, I was helping her take the medication. For me, as a pharmacist, trying to open up eight different bottles? It was simpler to just package the medication conveniently for either myself, my family members, or even for my mom to take her medication herself.”
