CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Severe thunderstorms through Tennessee and Kentucky downed trees and lightning touched off at least two fires.

WKRN-TV reports as many as 60 firefighters were called to the scene at the Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Nashville at around 2:30 a.m.

In Hopkinsville, five units of Ravenwood Apartments were damaged in a blaze investigators say was touched off by lightning. No one was injured.

There is an unconfirmed report of a tornado in Christian County. The National Weather Service in Paducah has confirmed 60-mile-an-hour winds in North of Hopkinsville.
