CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Todd County Rebels hosted the Fort Campbell Falcons for the first round of the Todd County Battle of the Border Tournament on Friday. The Rebels built a lead early, and never trailed in a 63-46 win.

In the first half, Todd County used timely shooting off some great passing to consistently score, and slowly built a lead, up 31-23 at halftime.

Fort Campbell head coach Orlando King says that it was the little things that cost the Falcons early.

“We didn’t apply the details as well as I would like,” said King. “I’m looking for a team that looks at the scout, is diligent in knowing what to do, and applies it to the game.”

As the game went on, Fort Campbell would mount a comeback, fueled by 23 points from Tyreek Anthony, but would ultimately fall short. The Falcons will face Montgomery Central in a losers bracket game Saturday morning at 10 a.m.
