CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Tennessee Valley Brewing Company is celebrating its first year anniversary by giving back to the community.
On Saturday, June 30 the public is invited to celebrate and help raise funds for the local chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters.
“We want to celebrate our anniversary, but we are always looking for ways to give back to the community, too,” co-owner Eric Brannstrom said. “We’ve always had a soft spot for children and decided that mentoring children is one of the best ways to show our support.”
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville is a 501c3 nonprofit that serves children in and around Montgomery County. The agency’s mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported, one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.
The anniversary event will feature food, live entertainment and, of course, locally-brewed beer. The first 300 people to purchase a ticket get a free commemorative glass. Tennessee Valley Brewing Company will set up a large tent outside for the event, which goes from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. on June 30.
Tickets include your first beer, a hot dog and chips and are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Montgomery County.
The Chamber of Commerce will be holding a ribbon cutting at Tennessee Valley Brewing Company on June 29 at 4 p.m.
Tennessee Valley Brewing Company is located at 2088 Lowes Drive and is owned by Wendy and Eric Branstrom, who both have military backgrounds.
