NASHVILLE, Tenn. (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) – TN Titans Radio has announced a change in the color analyst role for the upcoming 2017 season.
Longtime analyst Frank Wycheck will take the season off and former Arizona Cardinals Head Coach and Titans Linebacker Coach Dave McGinnis will fill in this season as the color analyst.
Coach McGinnis has 30 years of NFL experience and will provide commentary based on his coaching expertise.
The Titans released the following statement about the change:
“After multiple discussions with Frank (Wycheck), it was agreed that he will take this season off from the radio broadcasts and return next season. With the season quickly approaching, we have reached an agreement with Dave McGinnis to fill-in for Frank this season. Coach Mac has a deep knowledge and passion for the game, along with eight years as a coach with the Titans. He is very excited about taking on this role and we think he will fill in admirably.”
