NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After throwing for eight touchdowns in his first three starts, Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota is the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Month, according to WKRN News 2.
The eight touchdown passes ties the rookie record set by Dan Marino.
Mariota started his career by throwing four of those touchdowns in the first half of his first game in Tampa, Florida.
Through three games, Mariota has completed 61 of 97 passes for 833 yards.
He also has a quarterback rating of 109.2, that ranks 8th in the NFL and ahead of players like Phillip Rivers, Matt Ryan and Eli Manning.
